Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2283 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْخَيَّاطُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْ طَوَاغِيتِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ إِلَّا بَيْتُ ذِي الْخُلَّصَةِ، فَمَنْ يَنْتَدِبُ لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ؟» فَقَالَ جَرِيرٌ: أَنَا فَانْتَدَبَ مَعَهُ سَبْعَمِائَةٍ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ أَحْمَسَ، فَلَمْ يَفْجَأِ الْقَوْمُ إِلَّا بِنَوَاصِي الْخَيْلِ، فَقَتَلُوا وَخَرَّبُوا الْبَيْتَ، وَكَتَبُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبِشَارَةٍ، وَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْهُ إِلَّا كَالْبَعِيرِ الْمُهَنَّى أَوْ كَالْبَعِيرِ الْأَجْرَبِ فَخَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاجِدًا ثُمَّ قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأَحْمَسَ فِي خَيْلِهَا وَرِجَالِهَا»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Of the idols of the Days of Ignorance, nothing remains except the idol-house of Dhu al-Khalasah. So who will come forward for (this task for the sake of) Allah and His Messenger?" Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I (am ready). So seven hundred men, all of them from the tribe of Ahmas, came forward with him. The people knew nothing until the forelocks of the horses were upon them. They killed (the people of the idol-house) and demolished the idol-house, and wrote a letter of glad tidings to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), informing him that nothing remained of it except something like a camel smeared with tar or a mangy camel. At this the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fell down in prostration, then said: "O Allah, bless Ahmas in its horses and its men."
