Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2270 — the Prophet ﷺ said, concerning the saying

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفَّى، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: {وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا} [طه: ١٣٠] ، قَالَ: «طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ صَلَاةُ الصُّبْحِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, concerning the saying of Allah Almighty: "And glorify with the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting" [Surah Ta Ha: 130]: "(The prayer) before the rising of the sun is the Fajr prayer, and (the prayer) before its setting is the Asr prayer."
