Qays bin Abi Hazim said: Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the night of the full moon when he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will soon see your Lord just as you see this moon; you will have no difficulty in seeing Him. So if you are able, do not let the two prayers before the rising of the sun and before its setting be missed." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And glorify the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting." [Surah Ta-Ha: 130]
