حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أنا مَالِكٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٌ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ بِنْتِ مِحْصَنٍ: «أَنَّهَا أَتَتْ بِابْنٍ لَهَا صَغِيرٍ لَمْ يَأْكُلِ الطَّعَامَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَجْلَسَتْهُ فِي حِجْرِهِ، فَبَالَ عَلَى ثَوْبَهِ، فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ، فَنَضَحَهُ وَلَمْ يَغْسِلْهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Qays bint Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her) that she brought a small son of hers, who did not yet eat food, to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and seated him in his (peace and blessings be upon him) lap, and he urinated on his (peace and blessings be upon him) garment. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water, sprinkled it over it, and did not wash it.
