حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، حَدَّثَتْنِي بِنْتُ مُنْقِذٍ الْعَائِشِيَّةُ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهَا زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْأَزْهَرِ: " أَنَّ أَبَاهَا ذَهَبَ بِهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَمَسَحَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَيْهَا وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْهَا، قَالَتْ: فَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةً عابدةً صَالِحَةً "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm al-Azhar (may Allah be pleased with her) that her father took her to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his blessed hand over her and supplicated for blessing for her. The (female) narrator said: So she became a devout, righteous woman.
