حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْمُطَرِّزُ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ جَعْدَةَ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ ثُمَّ الْآخَرُونَ أَرْذَلُ»
Sayyiduna Ja'dah bin Hubayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of people are those of my generation, then those who come after it; then those who come after that will be the lowest."
