Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21714 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَذُوعِيُّ الْقَاضِي، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الشَّامِيُّ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Sharik (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah al-Fatihah in funeral prayers."
