حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجدوعي الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْعَتَكِيُّ، ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ، قَالَتْ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ: أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ فَقَالَ: «الصَّلَاةُ لَأَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Farwah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked, while I was listening: Which deed is best? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Offering the prayer at the beginning of its time."
