حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، يَقُولُ: مَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَحَدٌ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى إِلَّا أُمُّ هَانِئٍ، فَإِنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ أَنَّهُ «يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ اغْتَسَلَ فِي بَيْتِهَا، فَصَلَّى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ لَمْ أَرَهُ صَلَّى صَلَاةً أَخَفَّ مِنْهَا، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا»
Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla narrates: No one told us that he had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying the Duha (forenoon) prayer except Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her), for she mentioned that on the day of the Conquest of Makkah he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the ritual bath (ghusl) in her house, then prayed eight rak'ahs. I never saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) offer a prayer lighter than it, except that he (peace and blessings be upon him) completed its bowing (ruku') and prostrations.
