Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2143 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا مَلِيحُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، عَنْ مِينَا، عَنْ جُودَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنِ اعْتَذَرَ إِلَى أَخِيهِ مَعْذِرَةً فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهَا، فَإِنَّهُ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ خَطِيئَةِ صَاحِبِ مَكْسٍ»
Sayyiduna Jawdan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever offers an apology to his brother and he does not accept his apology, upon him is a sin like the sin of a tax collector."
