حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ، قَالَتْ: «لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ، دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ وَسَتَرَتْهُ أُمُّ هَانِئٍ، وَأُمُّ سَلَمَةَ فَاغْتَسَلَ وَصَلَّى الضُّحَى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ»
Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) said: When it was the day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water. Umm Hani and Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them both) screened him, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the ritual bath (ghusl) and prayed eight rak'ahs of the Duha (forenoon) prayer.
