It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jahjah al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came with some people of his tribe wishing to accept Islam, and they attended the Maghrib prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) concluded with the salam, he said: "Let every man take the hand of the one sitting beside him." No one was left in the mosque except the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and me, and I was big and tall, so no one would come forward to me (to take me along). So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took me to his house. He (peace and blessings be upon him) milked a goat for me and I drank it all, until he (peace and blessings be upon him) had milked seven goats, and I drank them all. Then a pot of cooked food was brought to me, and I ate that too. Sayyidah Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) said: May Allah make hungry whoever has made the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) go hungry tonight. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Enough, O Umm Ayman! He has eaten his provision, and our provision is upon Allah." In the morning the people gathered; he (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions assembled, and each man began to tell what hospitality he had been given. Jahjah said: Seven goats were milked for me and I drank them all, and a pot of food came too, and I ate that as well.
Then they attended the Maghrib prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let every man take the hand of the one sitting beside him." No one was left in the mosque except the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and me, and I was big and tall, so no one would come forward to me (to take me along). So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took me to his house. He (peace and blessings be upon him) milked one goat for me, and my thirst was quenched and I was full. Sayyidah Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah, is this not our guest? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed he is." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tonight he has eaten with the intestine of a believer, whereas before that he used to eat with the intestine of a disbeliever. The disbeliever eats with seven intestines, while the believer eats with one intestine."
