Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21162 — A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: I

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ أَبِيهِ، قَالَتْ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْجِهَادَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: «أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى جِهَادٍ لَا شَوْكَةَ فِيهِ؟» قُلْتُ: بَلَى، قَالَ: «حَجٌّ الْبَيْتِ»
The paternal grandmother (father's mother) of Uthman bin Abi Sulayman said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I want to wage jihad in the way of Allah. He ((peace and blessings be upon him)) said: "Shall I not direct you to a jihad in which there is no danger?" I said: Certainly. He ((peace and blessings be upon him)) said: "Hajj to the House of Allah."
