حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُوَفَّقٍ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ سُدَيْسَةَ، مَوْلَاةِ حَفْصَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَمْ يَلْقَ عُمَرَ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمَ إِلَّا خَرَّ لِوَجْهِهِ»
Sayyidah Sudaysah (may Allah be pleased with her), the freed slave-woman of Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her), said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ever since Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam, whenever Satan meets him, he falls on his face."
