Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21141 — I came to the Prophet ﷺ to pledge

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَتْنَا نَائِلَةُ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ السَّوْدَاءِ، قَالَتْ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأُبَايِعَهُ فَقَالَ: «انْطَلِقِي فَاخْتَضِبِي، ثُمَّ تَعَالَى حَتَّى أُبَايِعَكِ»
Sayyidah al-Sawda' (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pledge allegiance, and he ((peace and blessings be upon him)) said: "Go and apply henna, then come so that I may take your pledge."
