حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَلْمَى بِنْتِ نَصْرٍ الْمُحارِبِيَّةِ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ عَتَاقَةِ وَلَدِ الزِّنَا، فَقَالَتْ: «أَعْتِقِيهِ»
Sayyidah Salma bint Nasr al-Muharibiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I asked Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) about freeing a child born of fornication, and she said: "Free him."
