حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْقَزِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كاتَبَتْنِي زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ عَلَى عَشَرَةِ آلَافٍ فَلَمَّا حَلَّتْ تَرَكَتْ لِي أَلْفًا، «وَكَانَتْ زَيْنَبُ مِمَّنْ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ»
The father of al-Suddi said: Sayyidah Zaynab bint Qays bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with her) made a contract of manumission (mukatabah) with me for ten thousand (dirhams). Then, when the instalment became due, she waived one thousand for me. "And Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) was among those who prayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) towards both qiblahs."
