حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْجَذْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْجَارُودِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا؟ «فَنَهَاهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Jarud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about drinking water while standing, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade him from it.
