حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَرِيشِ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْبَحْرَانِيُّ، ثنا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخُوَارِ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ، حَدَّثَتْنِي تَغْلِبُ بِنْتُ الْخُوَارِ، عَنْ خَالَتِهَا خُلَيْدَةَ بِنْتِ قَعْنَبٍ، وَكَانَتْ مِنَ النِّسْوَةِ اللَّاتِي أَتَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: فَبَايَعْنَهُ، قَالَتْ: فَأَتَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَيْهَا سِوَارٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَأَبَى أَنْ يُبَايِعَهَا فَخَرَجَتْ مِنَ الزِّحَامِ فَرَمَتِ السِّوارَ، ثُمَّ جَاءَتْ فَبَايَعَهَا فَخَرَجَتْ تَنْظُرُ السِّوارَ، فَذَهَبَتْ تَنْظُرُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ ذُهِبَ بِهِ
Sayyidah Khulaydah bint Qa'nab (may Allah be pleased with her), who was among the women who came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and pledged allegiance, related that a woman came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) wearing a gold bracelet, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) refused to accept her pledge. She went out of the crowd and threw the bracelet away, then came back, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted her pledge. She went out looking for her bracelet, and as she searched for it, she found that it had been taken away.
