حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ، مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ صُبَيَّةَ قَالَتْ: رُبَّمَا نَازَعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي الْإِنَاءِ أَتَوَضَّأُ أَنَا، وَهُوَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ "
Sayyidah Umm Subayyah (may Allah be pleased with her), a woman of the tribe of Juhaynah, said: Sometimes I would vie with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for turns at the vessel; he (peace and blessings be upon him) and I would perform ablution (wudu) from one and the same vessel.
