حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «اسْتَأْذَنَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، حِينَ رَأَى مِنْهُ خِفَّةً أَنْ يَأْتِي بِنْتَ خَارِجَةَ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ»
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: When Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) saw some relief in the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he asked his (peace and blessings be upon him) permission to go to Bint Kharijah, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him permission, in a long hadith.
