Sayyidah Unaysah bint Adi (may Allah be pleased with her) related that she came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, my son Abdullah bin Salamah, who was one of the Companions of Badr, was martyred on the day of Uhud. I would like to move him so that I may find comfort in being near him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her permission, so she placed him, balanced against al-Mujadhdhar bin Ziyad (may Allah be pleased with him), in a cloak on one of her water-carrying camels. She passed by with them, and the people were amazed at them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) looked at the two of them and said: "Their deeds have made them equal." Abdullah was a stout, heavy man, while al-Mujadhdhar was lean, and he is the one who used to recite these rajaz verses:
I am the one whose origin is from Bali; I thrust with the spear until it bends,
And you will not see any Mujadhdhar accomplishing feats like mine.
