حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمِقْدَامِ الْحَدَّادِ، قَالَ: ثنا شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَتْ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَبِنْتُ عَمَّةٍ لِي لِنُبَايِعَهُ فَقَالَ: «لَا أُصَافِحُ النِّسَاءَ»
Sayyidah Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I and my cousin (the daughter of my paternal aunt) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to give him the pledge of allegiance, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not shake hands with women."
