Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20664 — A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةٌ فَسَأَلَتْهُ عَنِ الْحَيْضِ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَ إِحْدَانَا قَالَ: «خُذِيهِ فَحُتِّيهِ، ثُمَّ اقْرِضِيهِ، وَانْضَحِي بَقِيَّةَ ثَوْبِكِ»
Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) said: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him what one of us should do if menstrual blood gets on her garment. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take hold of it and scrape it off, then rub it, and sprinkle the rest of your garment."
