Hisham bin Urwah from Fatimah — Chapter
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20662 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، أَنَا مُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الثَّوْبِ يُصِيبُهُ الدَّمُ مِنَ الْحَيْضَةِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِتَحُتَّهُ، ثُمَّ لِتَقْرِضْهُ، ثُمَّ لِتَنْضَحْهُ ثُمَّ لِتُصَلِّ فِيهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a garment that has menstrual blood on it, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let her scrape it off, then rub it, then sprinkle it, then pray in it."
