حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ثنا عَمِّي، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ السَّبَّاقِ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ: أَنَّ مَوْلَاتَهَا تُصُدِّقَ عَلَيْهَا بِلَحْمٍ فَصَنَعَتْهُ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ مِنْ عَشَاءٍ؟» قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَدْ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَى فُلَانَةَ بِعُضْوٍ مِنْ لَحْمٍ، وَقَدْ صَنَعْتُهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «قَرِّبُوهُ فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحَلَّهَا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Juwayriyah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that her freed slave-woman was given some meat as charity, and she cooked it. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned, he said: "Do you have any supper?" I said: O Messenger of Allah! A piece of meat was given to so-and-so as charity, and I have cooked it. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring it, for it has reached its proper place." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from it.
