Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2050 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ثنا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، وَزِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، وَحُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «يَكُونُ مِنْ بَعْدِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا» ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ، فَسَأَلْتُ أَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ فَقَالَ: «كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "After me there will be twelve amirs." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said something that I did not hear, so I asked my father what he (peace and blessings be upon him) had said. He told me that he (peace and blessings be upon him) had said: "All of them will be from Quraysh."
