حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْمُسْتَمْلِي، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيُّ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، ثنا أَبِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، أَنَّ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَدَانَتْ ثَلَاثُمِائَةَ دِرْهَمٍ، فَقِيلَ لَهَا: يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ تَسْتَدِينِينَ وَلَيْسَ عِنْدَكِ؟ فَقَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنِ ادَّانَ دَيْنًا وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَقْضِيَهُ أَعَانَهُ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ»
It is narrated from Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utbah (may Allah have mercy on him) that the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), took a loan of three hundred dirhams. It was said to her: O Mother of the Believers! Do you take loans although you have nothing to repay with? She said: Yes, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever takes a loan and intends to repay it, Allah helps him in it."
