حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ الْحَدِيثَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَهَلَّ ذُو الْحِجَّةِ وَلَهُ ذِبْحٌ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَذْبَحَهُ، فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَنْ شَعْرِهِ وَأَظْفَارِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is reached by the month of Dhu al-Hijjah while he has a sacrificial animal that he intends to slaughter, let him refrain from (cutting) his hair and his nails."
