حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَا: ثنا مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيُّ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اجْلِسِي بِالْبَابِ فَلَا يَلِجَنَّ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ» ، فَقُمْتُ بِالْبَابِ إِذْ جَاءَ الْحُسَيْنُ وَهُوَ وَصِيفٌ فَذَهَبْتُ أَتَنَاوَلُهُ فَسَبَقَنِي الْغُلَامُ فَدَخَلَ عَلَى جَدِّهِ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ جَعَلَنِي اللهُ فِدَاكَ أَمَرْتَنِي أَنْ لَا يَلِجَنَّ عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ وَإِنَّ ابْنَكَ جَاءَ فَذَهَبْتُ أَتَنَاوَلُهُ فَسَبَقَنِي، فَلَمَّا طَالَ ذَلِكَ تَطَلَّعْتُ مِنَ الْبَابِ، فَوَجَدْتُكَ تُقَلِّبُ بِكَفِّكَ شَيْئًا وَدُمُوعُكَ تَسِيلُ وَالصَّبِيُّ عَلَى بَطْنِكَ، قَالَ: «نَعَمْ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ، فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ أُمَّتِي يَقْتُلُونَهُ، وَأَتَانِي بِالتُّرْبَةِ الَّتِي يُقْتَلُ عَلَيْهَا، فَهِيَ الَّتِي أُقَلِّبُ بِكَفِّي»
Salih bin Zayd narrates that Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Sit at the door, and let no one come in to me." So I stood at the door, and then Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) came, who was still a small child. I rushed to take hold of him, but the boy got past me and went in to his grandfather. I said: "O Prophet of Allah, may Allah make me your ransom, you ordered me that no one should come in to you, and your son came; I tried to take hold of him but he got past me. When it went on for a long time, I peeped in through the door and saw you turning something over in your palm, with your tears flowing, while the child was sitting on your stomach." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, Jibril came to me and told me that my Ummah will kill him, and he also brought me soil from the land where he will be martyred; this is the soil that I am turning over in my palm."
