Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20023 — she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Among my Companions are some who will never see me after I die." Then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came, entered upon her and asked: "I adjure you by Allah, am I one of them?" She said: "No, and after you I will never declare anyone free of it in this way." At that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) wept.
