Abdullah bin Rafi', freed slave of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19968 — when the Prophet ﷺ performed ablution
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ إِلْيَاسَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ «إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ خَلَّلَ لِحْيَتَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, he would run his fingers through his beard.
