Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19961 — she said: I said: O Messenger of Allah

It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who braids the hair of my head tightly; must I undo it for the ritual bath of janabah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, it is enough for you to take a few handfuls (of water) with your palms, then pour it over your body, and you will be purified."
