Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1994 — I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: After me

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّهُ سيقومُ بَعْدِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً فَسَأَلْتُ أَبِي فَقَالَ: «كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "After me twelve amirs will come to power." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said something further, so I asked my father, and he told me: He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All of them will be from Quraysh."
