حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَ: «قُتِلَ طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ فِي جُمَادَى سَنَةَ سِتٍّ وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَسِنُّهُ اثْنَتَانِ وَخَمْسُونَ سَنَةً، أَوْ أَرْبَعٌ وَخَمْسُونَ سَنَةً، وَالزُّبَيْرُ أَسَنُّ مِنْهُ، وَيُكَنَّى أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ»
Yahya bin Bukayr said: Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred on the day of the Battle of the Camel, in Jumada of the year 36 AH, and he was 52 or 54 years old. Al-Zubayr was older than him. His kunyah was Abu Muhammad.
