حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتَا: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ، ثُمَّ يَصُومُ»
Sayyidah Aishah and Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them both) both said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would reach the morning in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) due to intercourse, not from a wet dream, then he would fast.
