Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19862 — On the day of Eid al-Fitr a slave girl

It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: On the day of Eid al-Fitr a slave girl of Sayyiduna Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us with her hair loose, and she had a daff (hand drum) with her on which she was singing. Umm Salamah scolded her, at which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave her, Umm Salamah! Every people has an Eid, and this is the day of our Eid."
