Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19849 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never fasted

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ تَوْبَةَ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: «مَا صَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهْرًا كَامِلًا، إِلَّا شَعْبَانَ كَانَ يَصِلُهُ بِرَمَضَانَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never fasted a complete month, except Sha'ban, which he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to join to Ramadan."
