Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19816 — the Prophet ﷺ forbade a man to pray

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُخَوَّلِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَهَى أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الرَّجُلُ، وَرَأْسُهُ مَعْقُوصٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man to pray while his hair is tied up (in a bun).
