Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19649 — I heard my grandfather Abdullah bin

Umayyah bin Safwan bin Abdullah bin Safwan al-Jumahi narrates: I heard my grandfather Abdullah bin Safwan say, during the caliphate of Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both), that I heard Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) say that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "An army will certainly march against this House (the Ka'bah), until when they reach the place called al-Bayda', the middle part of them will be swallowed into the earth; their front will call out to their rear, but none of them will remain except the fugitive who will give news of them." A man said to my grandfather: I bear witness that you did not fabricate a lie against Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her), nor did Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) fabricate a lie against the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Sufyan said: Umayr bin Qays used to narrate this hadith on the authority of Umayyah.
