Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19631 — when the dawn broke, the Prophet ﷺ used

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ»
Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that when the dawn broke, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two light rak'ahs.
