حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two light rak'ahs after the break of dawn.
