Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19609 — Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went in to Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) while she was weeping. He asked: "What has made you weep? Has the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) divorced you? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did divorce you before, and he took you back for my sake. By Allah! If he (peace and blessings be upon him) has divorced you (now), I will never speak a single word to you."
