حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَبَاحُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَوْ جُمِعَ عِلْمُ نِسَاءِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ فِيهِنَّ أَزْوَاجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ عَلِمُ عَائِشَةَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ عِلْمِهِنَّ»
Imam al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the knowledge of the women of this Ummah were gathered together, including the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the knowledge of Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) would be greater than the knowledge of all of them."
