حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا خَلَّادُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، يَرْفَعُ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ: " أُرِيتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَأُنْسِيتُهَا فَاطْلُبُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وَقَالَ: وَهِيَ لَيْلَةُ رِيحٍ وَمَطَرٍ ورَعْدٍ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu' report (attributed to the Prophet): "I was shown Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree), then I was made to forget it, so seek it in the last ten nights (of Ramadan)." And he said: "It is a night of wind, rain and thunder."
