حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَوْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: «رَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ ثَلَاثَةَ أَقْمَارٍ سَقَطْنَ فِي حُجْرَتِي» ، فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: إِنْ صَدَقَتْ رُؤْيَاكِ دُفِنَ فِي بَيْتِكِ خَيْرُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ ثَلَاثَةٌ، فَلَمَّا مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ لَهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ: خَيْرُ أَقْمَارِكِ يَا عَائِشَةُ، وَدُفِنَ فِي بَيْتِهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I saw in a dream as if three moons fell into my chamber. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If your dream is true, three of the best of the people of the earth will be buried in your house." Then, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said to her: "O Aishah, this is the best of your moons." And Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) were also buried in her house.
