حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدَوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ السَّرَّاجُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ؟، قَالَ: «وَلِمَ؟» ، قُلْتُ: لِأُحِبَّ مَنْ تُحِبُّ، قَالَ: «عَائِشَةُ» .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, who among people is most beloved to you?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why do you ask?" I said: "So that I too may love the one whom you love." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Aishah."
