حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْجَارُودِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِِي عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ - زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَتْ: أَرْسَلْنَ أَزْوَاجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاطِمَةَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْ وَهُوَ مُضْطَجِعٌ مَعِي فِي مِرْطِي، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا وَأَنَا سَاكِتَةٌ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرْسَلْنَنِي يَسْأَلْنَكَ الْعَدْلَ فِي بِنْتِ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا بُنَيَّةُ أَلَسْتِ تُحِبِّينِي؟» ، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ: «أَحِبِّيهَا»
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), said: The other wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). She asked permission to come in while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was lying with me under my sheet, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her permission to come in while I remained silent. She said: O Messenger of Allah, your other wives have sent me to ask you for fairness concerning the daughter of Abu Quhafah (Aishah). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "My daughter, do you not love me?" She said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then love her too."
