Aishah bint Abi Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with them both), wife of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (he gave her the kunyah Umm Abdullah after Abdullah bin al-Zubayr; the mother of Aishah and her brother Abd al-Rahman was Umm Ruman bint Amir bin Uwaymir bin Abd Shams bin Abd Manaf bin Udhaynah bin Subay' bin Dahman bin al-Harith bin Abd bin Malik)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19373 — she said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأُدْخِلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي شَوَّالٍ، فَأَيُّ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ أَحْظَى عِنْدَهُ مِنِّي؟» ، قَالَ: وَكَانَتْ تَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ نِسَاؤُهَا فِي شَوَّالٍ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married me, and I was brought to him as a bride in Shawwal. So which of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was more fortunate with him (peace and blessings be upon him) than I was?
The narrator said: And she liked the women of her family to be sent to their husbands as brides in Shawwal.
