Aishah bint Abi Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with them both), wife of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (he gave her the kunyah Umm Abdullah after Abdullah bin al-Zubayr; the mother of Aishah and her brother Abd al-Rahman was Umm Ruman bint Amir bin Uwaymir bin Abd Shams bin Abd Manaf bin Udhaynah bin Subay' bin Dahman bin al-Harith bin Abd bin Malik)

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «تُوُفِّيَتْ خَدِيجَةُ قَبْلَ مَخْرَجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ بِثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ - أَوْ نَحْوِ ذَلِكَ - وَتَزَوَّجَ عَائِشَة قَرِيبًا مِنْ مَوْتِ خَدِيجَةَ»
Urwah narrates: Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away three years, or about that, before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) emigrated to Madinah, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) close to the time of the death of Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her).
